My Dad Is 88 And Has Been A Heart Patient

My dad is 88 and has been a heart patient for 26 yrs. He has 2 stents and a pacemaker defribullator. Up until 3 months ago his ejection fraction was around 35%. It recently dropped to 15%. He is on oxygen and is responding well with it. He has a strong desire to live, wants to drive and b able to go out like he use to even if it means with oxygen. His doctor tells me there is no way to raise his ejection fraction and his life expectancy is probably only a few months. He is taking amiodarone, 100mg, torsimide 10mg, metoprolol, 25mg, plavix 75 mg, aspirin 81mg, spironolactone 25mg and simivastatin 20mg. It's not a lot of medicine and the dr kept it the same after yesterday's visit. Would a whole new medicine regimine help him. What about digoxin? And coreg together?
