My dad is 64, high BP, untreated diabetic besides with Diet - had a thalamus stroke wasnt found for 6 hours (lives alone) In hospital now. Refusing all IV, not eating or drinking. Speech goes on and off. Timelines for him are off. Urine is concentrated now when he pees. BP still high. Only will take morphine shots, nothing else. His directive states no tubes, surgery, no restarting heart etc, and my dad has told us his wishes too. Are we now just waiting on dehydration or is there hope here and I am missing something?
