My Cancer Doctor Found That I Needed Prolia Shots Because

My cancer doctor found that I needed Prolia shots because of thinning of my bones. She said she couldn't begin the shot cycle until I had all my dental work done. I went to my dentist and told him what she had said. I had my teeth checked and he said there was nothing that HAD to be done - but said I would probably need a crown on my upper right side molar. I paid over $1000 for my last crown so I protested and asked him if there was anything else he could do to fix it. He said, he could put in a temporary filling. I said OK. Today that filling came out. I'm scheduled for my next Prolia shot in one week. I'm not sure why she requested that my dental work be done before beginning the shot cycle. She said one of the side effects could be lock-jaw. Here is my question: Should I go and get another temporary filling this week before my next shot? Is it dangerous to do any dental work now that I had 1 shot and am due for shot #2?
