My brother is living with my 88 year old mother. He has odeed many times in 40 yrs of this torture. He gets 60 Xanax from the dr. And takes them all within 4 days. Then goes into grand mall seizures and is rushed to the hospital. Last time they had to put a breathing tube in. He was in ICU for 3 days and the hospital the rest of the week. My mother is very sick but is enabler. She is very stressed and depressed. He takes control of the house when we're not there but he is suffering also and has a kind heart. This is going to kill my mother and he is a danger to himself. He will die to if this continues.
The family is all getting worn down running to hospitals in the night while another sibling runs to my moms to try to calm her down. She has had a major heart attack, afib and many other health issues. We don't know what to do anymore. We don't want to see either of them die over this. He had 60 Zanax 3 days ago. Now he has around 15 left. My mom gave him 6 2 mom yesterday because she believes his lies. He fall on the floor, into the frig, etc etc. we r in dire need of help. Please advise thank you. Ps. He's on Medicaid or Medicare. Disability
