My boyfriend has hemorrhoids and he has had them for a while. We have been to the doctors many times and now he has a scheduled appointment for surgery on the 26th but he doesn't want to go to it anymore due to a anal fissure. This is giving him a lot of pain and he is unable to sleep at night because of it and this has been going on for many weeks. He got this from when we went to the doctor and they put a camera up his anal passage. Do you think he should get the operation or wait until the anal fissure heals as he is worried it will make it worse?
Also is there anything he can do to help the pain.
