My Almost 7 Month Old Was Buckled In The Booster

My almost 7 month old was buckled in the booster seat at the dining table. I'm doing crafts with my two toddlers, get up to throw scrap paper away and the baby kicks off the table and launches himself backwards smacking his head on our floor. He screamed and cried for a couple of minutes and is in and out of sleep. It's passed his naptime though, so I don't know if he is tired from a head injury, his nap, or the crying, or all 3. His soft spot is not protruding, and I used a light to check his eyes, neither are dilated. He has a goose egg where he hit which feels like it could be from the top of the chair rather than the floor which is wood.
I just don't know what to do, I feel AWFUL. Should I take him to the ER, DR, or just watch him closely? Please help :-(
