My 83-year-old Father. Started Experiencing Bad Diarrhea 8 Months Ago.

My 83-year-old father. Started experiencing bad diarrhea 8 months ago. He went to three doctors who all took stool samples and told him it was nothing. He got so he could somewhat control it my using Imodium. Now he's in the hospital with a number of infections and severe dehydration. Whenever he even sips water his whole GI track reacts. Excessive mucus and foam from the mouth, spasms in the esophagus, pooping. You name it, it is as if an organism has taken over his body. He does have Campylobacter but we believe he picked in up in the rehab center or at the hospital. We don't think he would have it for 8 months.
