Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 80 year old husband had 4 stents placed in January and within 2 days of procedure he began sufferring from orthostatic hypotension and has experienced multiple falls one that resulted in facial contusions and hospitalization with subsequent nursing home placement for rehab. He never had any BP problems prior to this procedure. Have you ever heard of this before after percutaneous coronary intervention or is it totally coincidental?
