My 6 Year Old Son Has A History Of Asthma

My 6 year old son has a history of asthma since he was 20 mos old. Currently taking Flovent INH 110mcg 1 puff twice daily and Xopenex 1.25mg INH every 4 hours as needed. His asthma has been viral induced and quite controlled the past few years. He currently is in the midst of a bad flare up and using the Xopenex pretty much every 4 hours and on Omnicef (day 2) for sinus infection symptoms and Orapred (day 1). My question is I am waiting for some break in this....his cough is still quite tight and wanting to know if there is anything else I should be doing..He does not have any chest retractions or indication of respiratory distress. Pulse ox is 97% or greater
