My 4 Year Old Grandson Has Been Taking Swimming Lessons

My 4 year old grandson has been taking swimming lessons at a public pool every Saturday. Last Saturday he became fatigued and fell asleep was flushed and warm to the touch. No symptoms the next day.
It happened again yesterday. He c/o feeling tired...fell asleep and was very flushed and felt feverish.
I was babysitting both times and his father was concerned as I was when he came home to have this repeated 2 Saturdays in a row and this time more evident.
His mother doesn't feel concerned..just stating the pool tires him out.
I think it's more than being "just tired"...I am a retired RN.
Could a reaction to chlorine be the culprit or swallowing pool water?
