My 26 Year Old Daughter Had A Blister Randomly Appear

My 26 year old daughter had a blister randomly appear on her elbow. She says this has happened two other times over the last several months. She went to a dermatologist who did a punch biopsy. It took two weeks, but the results came in today. They are inconclusive and now they want her to get blood work. She says the dermatologist said it could be from contact (which my daughter doesn't believe because her elbow doesn't rub on anything. Or the dermatologist said it could be something very rare that involves numb fingers and toes and severe abdominal pain. (Symptoms she doesn't have.) My daughter was driving when she talked to the doctor so she can't remember what the doctor called the rare disease. I'm in another state and going nuts, since she can't remember the name. Any idea what rare disease the doctor was thinking about? The blood work is apparently to rule it out.
