My 20 Year Old Daughter Has Always Had An Issue

My 20 year old daughter has always had an issue with constipation, hard stools, expelling minimal amounts and occasional bouts of bright blood in the toilet...she often feels full or bloated even when she hasn't eaten anything.(she is to the point that she is afraid to eat)...... in the past year or so she has changed her eating habits to be super healthy (ie: Kale smoothies, fruits, veggies, soy nuts, zoodles ) she keeps well hydrated and exercises (this past memorial weekend she ran her first half marathon) .... she went to our primary care and it was suggested for her to have a colonoscopy... she did about 4 weeks ago... the GI doctor suggested the generic add more fruits, vegetables and plenty of water.... when we tried to explain this is ALL she does... the doctor just suggested trying different things to see what may work for her..... my daughter is beyond frustrated and as I am since I am unable to offer her anything more..... she did recently start taking magnesium 2 tablets BID..... it seemed to work for a couple of days but worse since....
