My 19 year old daughter had a blood test to confirm she is pregnant. She did have her period a couple weeks ago and the US tech asked her if she was sure she had a period...yes she did. She had an US Tues. She went in for spotting initially. She continues to have spotting and sees her dr tomorrow. She was called today and asked to come in earlier for another blood draw. Her dr wants to see her blood levels. Is she having a miscarriage? What is the dr looking for when they say they want to look at her levels?
