My 16 year old autistic son is having bizarre episodes. Lately he's been yelling, crying, screaming and having panic attacks. He screams really loud late at night and refuses to go to sleep. He is fixated on his ipod and when this is taken away becomes extremely upset to the point where I'm afraid he may hurt himself. In one instance he screams and grunts really loud for about 30 seconds to a minute, then when I call his name to try and get his attention, he seems to be coming out of a daze. At one point he mumbles to himself as if he's talking to someone then the panick attacks and screaming starts all over again. He takes KEPPRA 6mg twice a day to control his seizures. What can I do? Where do I turn to for help?
