My 11 yo son, diagnosed w/Tourette's, ocd & adhd 4 yrs ago, has been exhibiting "out of ordinary" symptoms for the past year...but only recently, did they come to my attention, as I witnessed an "episode", while in the store alone w/him....he thought that they were just a normal part of his neuro "stuff", as he told his new pediatrician 4 days ago. Nothing was done & we were given a referral for neuro. 1. Numbness & tingling in extremities 2. Slurred speech & loss of vocabulary 3. Disoriented 3. Balance loss 4. Left-sided facial droopiness 5.Drooling 6. Left eye twitching 7. Each episode is daily (sometimes multiple times) & lasts 1.5-3 mins. Afterwards, he feels exhausted, yawning & requesting food. We eat "clean" & take vitamins, as this has proven helpful in lessening ticks. We are a military family.
