My 11 year old Cairn Terrier was just diagnosed with Diabetes. The reason we took him to the vet, we noticed him itching like crazy. No fleas, mange or mites, but the vet thought it was an allergy. during the visit he tested his urine and found out he is diabetic. We justhad his first insulin shot today. He is still itching and lays on his back and cries. Vet still thinks its an allergy and want to tackle the diabetes first. I feel for my poor dog. Any suggestions?
