Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 1 year old grand-daughter had a piece of a peanut butter brownie at a restaurant. We realized a bite too late that she is allergic to peanut butter. She seemed OK at first. Rushed home. She has an epi pen but did not use it because she only seemed a little red in her right cheek. Mouth a little red and left hand slightly red. Gave her water. Observed her for 6 hours closely. She ate dinner. Played happily and the redness decreased. Should I be concerned even now after she fell asleep and is sleeping and breathing ok?
