I noticed today that my pulse was not beating correctly. It would beat normal , then it would change....1 beat, a 2nd beat then a pause (when there should have been a beat). This pattern has continued from earlier today until now. I have noticed discomfort (not pain) coming from the left side of my chest (inside), that seems to happen during the periods of irregular beats.
I am 65 and had a double catheterization about 5 or 6 months ago. I was told by my Cardiologist that my heart is in excellent condition. Can you advise me what might be going on.
