Mom Has Had Low Potassium For Approximately A Year. Has

Mom has had low potassium for approximately a year. Has been on supplemental potassium 20 meq once to twice a day depending on her K level. Normally when she is on K twice a day her K runs on the high end and they decrease it to once a day. She has been taking K twice a day for a cpl months and recently it has decreased to 3.5/3.6 (low normal levels) despite taking the extra K. She had been on lisinopril with hydrochloratiazide twice a day but it was decreased to once a day about 2 months ago. They can not decided why her K is lower now despite having the extra potassium and being off one of the lisinopril with 12.5 mg hydrochlorathiazide. She has stage 3/4 kidney disease.
