Lower Abdominal Pain, Rectal Bleeding. Abdominal Scan Report Normal. Any Suggestions?

Hi, I am Cathi D. I have been experiencing lower abdominal pain and discomfort. Over a week ago, I had rectal bleeding for 4 days. I went to the Hospital with the bleeding and lower abdominal pain. My blood work came out fine, so I was sent home.
I went to a Gastronologist, had an exam. and then to have an Abdominal and Pelvic Cat Scan with Contrast. The results came back to say it was negative. No findings of anything.
That was 2 days ago and I still have this pain and discomfort.
What else do you think it could be?

Hi Cathi D ! It is good that all the relevant investigations has come out to be ok in your case. But I would suggest you to go for a colonoscopy by your gastro enterologist considering the duration of your bleeding per rectum.
In case of females, rectal endometriosis has to be excluded by a gynaecologist which can bleed during menstrual periods and also cause pain and discomfort in the lower abdomen.
Please take care.
