Loss Of Strength In The Hand After Having Multiple Fracture. Plates Inserted. Need To Remove Them?

Sir, I got my fore hand fractured twice.the two bones inside was completely broken and plates are placed inside to join it.it was happened one year ago.i got my hand back with normal movements but til i cant get the complete strength as before. To get the complete strength what should i do? & when can i remove the plates?

I have read complete details of your question.

There is no urgency to remove the plates.They can be kept until unless they are creating some problems like infection,irritation of soft tissue,etc.

To gain strength you should consult to a physiotherapist who may advice you & help you in doing some exercises which help in removing adhesion between muscles at forearm.
