Looking At Faint Lights Or Different Colored Lights Get A Blind Spot, Shadow Of Vision For Short Periods, Headaches. Taking Ibrufen. Suggestion?
Hi, I have noticed recently that when i look at faint lights or different colored lights i automatically get a blind spot that lasts a few seconds. I have been having some shadow of vision that also only last for a short period of time. I have minor headaches 3-4 days a week that go away with 1 ibuprophen and often times by drinking an awful lot of water. This has lasted about 3 weeks

the blind spot you have mentioned is called as a floater
if it disappears off and on then its cause is most likely in vitreous
you should pay a visit to an ophthalmologist for
1 refractive error as you have off and on headache
2 ocular pressures
3 vitreous and retina evaluation
4 computerised perimetry
as far as headache is concerned get your BP checked
migraine also can be a cause for your headache .it usually has a trigger factor and a relieving factor . it could be hypoglycaemia,dehydration,intake of some thing specific like a chocolate etc.try to dig out that common triggering cause from your varios episodes of headache and try to avoid them
