Lately when my boyfriend and I have had sex, he's ended up with small cuts all around his penis, specifically about a half an inch under the head. At first we thought it was my IUD that was somehow cutting him (Mirena), so I had it removed and got another form of birth control (Nexplanon). We were sure it wouldn't continue to happen, but it still is and we can't figure out why. I'm always wet enough when we finally decide to have intercourse, so I doubt that it's because of too much friction. What could be making this happen? It's starting to worry me. Also, he's developed gray scars on his penis from these cuts. I can feel and see them very easily. I don't know if gray scarring on the penis is normal or not, so I thought I should mention it just in case.
