Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Based on the information you have provided, it appears that you were diagnosed with alcoholic liver disease with acute gastritis and GERD in August 2018. You were admitted to the hospital and treated for fatty liver grade-3. Since then, you have been taking multiple medications to manage your condition.

It is important to note that alcoholic liver disease is a chronic condition that can take a long time to heal. The duration of your ailment and the time it will take for you to recover will depend on the severity of your liver disease and how well you respond to treatment.

Your medications are aimed at managing your symptoms and improving liver function. In addition to medications, lifestyle changes such as stopping alcohol consumption, eating a healthy diet, and exercising regularly can also help improve liver health.

It is recommended that you continue to follow up with your doctor regularly to monitor your liver function and adjust your treatment plan as needed. Generally if alcohol consumption stops completely and dietary modifications done, then your condition is reversible.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
