Just Need A Second Opinion As My Current Doctor's Don't
Just need a second opinion as my current doctor's don't have answers and my issues are greatly affecting my quality of life. Constantly feel like I have to pee 24/7. Going pee makes the feeling worse. I have lose of appetite and concentration as all I can think about is this feeling of having to pee. Once I am able to fall asleep it does not wake me up in the night. There is no real burning when I pee but a slight burning sensation after I pee but not always. I am 28 year old male. Went to convienient care clinic and they ruled out a UTI and did a basic diabetes test and that was ruled out too. Went to the ER as I couldn't handle the pain anymore. They checked my urine again and ruled out a UTI. They did a bladder scan with 2 machines and showed my bladder was completely empty even though I had a intense feeling of having to pee. They checked my prostate and said it was slightly enlarged but not overly firm. They also took my blood and did some STD's test and those came back negative. They referred me to a Urologist. The urologist checked my prostrate and said it felt like sand paper. They scanned my bladder again and it was empty. They also checked my urine again and that was negative. There is no blood in my urine so they don't think it is stones but that had a CT scan done on my bladder. They found nothing of real interest in my CT scan. They prescribed me a month of Antibotic ibuprofen and flowmax and to come back in 3 months. I have since done the month of antibiotic with no real change in my condition.
