Just found out when I went for a stress test that my heart had abnormalities & some damage &I was told it was very weak & my EF is at 20 percent. I am 59 . They did angiogram & my arteries were clean as a whistle. Not a speck of plaque on them the cardiologist said. I have had no viruses or anything this past year. Had a checkup last month--A1c was 6.9. Cholesterols were both great. Thyroid good too. Blood pressure good. Have been on Bp meds for years now--diabetes meds for 3-4 yrs. have had hypothyroidism for 20 yrs. only thing was a spider bite back in July that kept burning so bad but never got antibiotics for it till Oct. could this be a factor in my chf? My cardiologist said he doesn't know why I have it. What's my prognosis?
