I've Had Bad Reaction To Anesthesia Given For Colonoscopy In

I've had bad reaction to anesthesia given for colonoscopy in the past. I'm trying to determine which it was. It burned going in arm, felt like a blow torch was burning my entire arm. Also it instantly caused sharp pain in my head and it felt like my brain was on fire! I was screaming and yet didn't know I had no voice and no one heard me. When I awoke I was told they about "lost" me saying my heart rate dropped. I was crying & asking why they didn't stop causing pain. I then was told they can't hear what I'm saying. My voice took 30 minutes to come back. Having another colonoscopy in morning and told dr my concerns. What caused this? Do you know?
