Is Yellow Scab Oozing Yellow Liquid On A Burnt Spot A Sign Of Infection?

hi, i recently dropped a curling iron, and i tried to catch it, but i ended up hitting my stomach with it and held it there for too long. its been four days since, and the burn has yellow scabs and is oozing a yellow liquid onto the bandages im outting on it. what are some signs of infection?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you have an infection at the site of burning leading to oozing of yellow liquid that can be pus..

I would suggest you to consult a General Surgeon and get evaluated..
In case of infection he can advise you to take Oral antibiotics like Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim and anti inflammatory medicines like Advil..
Topically, clean the area with antiseptic solution and apply a combination of TRIPLE ANTIBIOTIC OINTMENT and steroid ointment over it..
You can also be advised injectable antibiotics for faster healing..
