hi good morning doc. I m che 35 years of age, in a relationship... i had this problem for 3 months already but i just don t mind and i try to observe first... i had this yellowish discharges itchy and i dont like the smell..i was wondering why there is smell i wash often and i change my uderwear 3 to 4x a day but still the smell is there, i was not use to this i thought it will be gone after my monthly period.. but still until now.. im afraid can u pls answer.. my friend told me its a sign of STD.. is it true.. im afraid. hope u could hel me regarding my problem.. thank you very much..

foul smelling discharge with itching is usually because of infection with trichomonas
vaginalis organism.this is one of the std .take precautios use condom treatment for this is tab. metronidazole 400mg bd for 5 days.
