Is Weight Loss Post Embryo Transfer A Cause For Concern?

I am day 5 after day 3 embryo transfer. I am now 6-7 lbs lighter than I was last week and about 4 lbs lighter than I was before starting the IVF treatments. Can this be explained just from going off the IVF meds (aside from progesterone) and being very careful with my diet? Or could there be another cause (I doubt the progesterone causes weight loss.) that I should be concerned about?

OB and GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

No, it’s not the concern. You should stay stress-free as it can affect your IVF treatment. I advised you to take a good and healthy diet and to stay calm.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Naira Jahangir, OB and GYN Specialist
