Hi
It is given as a hepatoprotector. It helps to abort apoptosis of cells. However it is not given in decompensated liver cirhosis. It helps in decreasing of liver enzyme levels. If your fatty liver is caused by alcohol then by refraining from alcohol you will have a good prognosis.Regular follow up with your doctor is necessary.Liver enzymes should be checked regularly at intervals.Hope this may help you.
thanks
