Is Unsweetened Dark Chocolate Good For A Healthy Pancreas?

I read that unsweetened dark chocolate is good for the pancreas. I am level 2 diabetic and temporarily taking prednisone for a late age (79) fibro myalgia which has resulted in (hopefully temporarily) adding insulin and Januvia to my metformin (3x500). My blood test before prednisone was 6.9 (Canadian grading) and now 8.3. I have added additional water now to my diet. I have had to make many additional diet adjustments recently. Is the chocolate above safe or harmful?
