Is Travelling Safe While Suffering From Cough And Pressure In The Chest?

My husband has had influenza and pneumonia and will complete his course of antibiotics 2 days before we are due to travel from the USA to the UK. He is feeling a great deal better, still has a cough and still has some pressure in his chest when he lies flat. Do you think we should postpone the trip?

Hi,
Thanks for the query on HCM.
If he s symptomatically better u can carry on with your travel.
He needs to be examined thorougly before he travels as if he has an infectious problem, he mite spread the disease to others and also due to weather variations, his health condition mite worsen.

So i suggest you a thorough examination from your physician and get a fitness certificate before he travels.
Thank u
