Is Travelling During Pregnancy Recommended?

i have to travel to India the next week that is 4th March but the thing is i will be travelling half way by plane n half way by jeep n the road halfway by jeep is not so bad but there are some bumpy areas also.m now 8weeks pregnant n m 34 yrs old with the first one . I really want to go home ( going home after 6 yrs) but i also fear if anything happens to the little one . During all my sisters pregnancy they travelled a lot by bus during their 2 /3 months of pregnancy but nothing happened to them still they got through easily. Can u please suggest as to what should i do ?

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion long journey is restricted to 2 nd trimester and flight is safe but roadways are risky.Though nothing has happened to your sisters by journey it cant be same in all.So try to postpone the journey after 12 weeks.Avoid physical strain and take rest.If the journey is inevitable then it should be done keeping the risk in mind.Hope this satisfies your query.
