Is Traveling In Car After Pubic Bone Fracture Advisable?

My wife, age 69, fell and broke a pubic bone in her pelvis in one place last Friday. Unfortunately she was out of town. The emergency room physician prescribed 325mg aspirin, and some pain meds. My question is , are we creating a dangerous situation by having her ride home for 12 hours in a car, one week after injury.

Hello, Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know your wife, age 69, fell and broke a pubic bone in her pelvis in one place last Friday. You want to know that one week after injury whether your wife can travel by car to home a 12 hours journey.I thing it is not dangerous but it should be avoided because whenever there will be movement she will have pain and 12 hours is a long period. So I advise travel by train if possible. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care.
