Is Travel Advisable For An Infant With Floppy Larynx?
We are due to go on holiday to Greece next Wednesday, my son is 14weeks old and ? Floppy larynx. Seen ENT registrar today who has booked him in to have general and have a proper look down plus remove any excess tissue. She was unsure whether I should go away, do you think we should go?
It is better to avoid long travel. Infants with floppy larynx may go in strider or breathing problems suddenly. So it is better to stay at your home town until the disease is stable.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
