Is Torn Frenulum A Serious Concern?

Hi. My boyfriend s frenulum tore while we were having sex. It was dark so at Fort he just said he was in pain and we stopped only after about 20 mons we realised that there was blood everywhere. Not sure if he bled inside me but I had blood on the outside on me. Is a bad? Are there concerns I should have?

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
As far as you are concerned, there is no need to worry about as you might have come in contact with his blood following frenulum tear. Take care to wash the parts well which has come in contact with blood using mild antiseptic solution like Savlon.
Regarding him, make sure the wound wouldn't get infected. He needs to take care by doing the following till it heals:
1. Wash with antiseptic solution like Povidine-iodine twice daily.
2. Apply Neomycin cream over it after drying.
3. Take antiinflammatory medication Tablet. Ibuprofen twice daily after food.
4. Wear loose undergarments and avoid friction in that area.
5. Abstain from sexual activities till the lesion heals completely.
Kindly make sure that he is clean and tested for HIV and HbSAg - status to be negative.
