Is Tooth Extraction Safe When Suffering From Hyperthyroidism?

i am a 33 year old housewife with 3 kids. i am diagnosed with hyperthyroidism last year after giving birth to my 3rd child. i'm presently taking medications. i just want to know if it is ok for me to be extracted with tooth since it is hurting me badly?
