Is Throat Burning After Taking Amlodipine A Cause For Concern?

I took my Amlodopine (Besylate) a few minutes ago and it caused burning in my throat. Have taken it for a long time should I notify my heart doctor since the prescription came from him? I also have a family physician in this city. Heart doctor is not always in this city daily but does have an office here. It has done this before also but I just ignored it.
