Is This Dosage Of Doxycycline Monohydrate And Prednisone Advisable For Pneumonia?

I have been coughing for 2 1/2 weeks I have asthma andhave been taking my ashtma medicines and dayquill and nighttime too I have felt better but cant quit coughing so I went to instacare tonite He said I had walking phneumonia so he prescribe doxycycline monoohydrate 100 m and predisone 10 mg which I take 5 pills for 5 days the other one I take 1 2times a day. when I came home I took the predisone and I took 2 of the other pill. I am wondering if I am contagious and Im worried if I took too much medicine

Hello,

Acute bronchitis may take time to recover. Don't worry avoid cool'drinks and freeze water. Use water vapor inhalation and salt intake and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days.

Get it done a chest x-ray and sputum examination. Use syrp tusq-ex 2 teaspoons thrice a day for five days.

If symptoms not improved please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
