Is This Dosage Of Cytotec Oral Pill Advisable After A Miscarriage?

I had a natural miscarriage on Wednesday and pushed almost everything out. On Friday my OBGYN did an ultra sound and prescribed me 14 pills of cycotec. 4 under the tongue thirty minutes at night and the next day 2 under the tongue every 3 hours until completing the 14 pills. I did not see it necessary to be prescribed so many cause I had expelled everything naturally. He said its cause I had a lil debris and he wanted to clean everything out. what s your opinion about so many pills when I had expelled naturally? Now I sound like a volcano in my stomach lots of gas and thank God did diarreah to clean out.

Hello dear
understand your concern
USG tells better status of your misscarriage.
Some time whole pregnancy product will not expels out.
Remaining product called retain product and should be removed as it cause infections and bleeding.
Dose of cytotec will depend upon the amount of product.
But should be used under the supervision of gynecologist as it cause severe bleeding and cramp.
So you can follow your gynecologist advice but take under observation.
If you do not want use the pill, then you can also go for Evacuation or d & c procedure.
