Is There Chance Of Deep Vein Thrombosis Recurring At The Same Place In Knee?

Hi last August my partner was diagnosed with a dvt behind his knee. after suffering from pain in the leg and swelling he had a scan and it confirmed the dvt. He was placed on 6month medication to clear this which he finished in February. Now he is complaining of the same pain in his knee again. Could this be another dvt? What are the chances of it returning in the same place. I would be grateful for any information. Thank you

Yes, they are. Avoid standing up for long periods and use compression stockings. You may need a surgery in the long run.
