Is There Anything Else I Can Take?

I started takingLisinopril HCTZ 20-12.5. A month ago. It makes me really sick. I get nauseous , and sweat, and really dizzy. I can t go any where because I m afraid to drive. Is there some thing else I could take.? My feet and legs are swollen. I just can t stand being where I can t go any where..

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

Am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have described. Your symptoms seem suggestive of a possible low blood pressure. This could be caused by a rather too much action of the anti hypertensive medications. What have your blood pressure numbers been? If they have been good during these episodes, then this could be side effects related to the medications. There are several antihypertensive out there that you could be tried on others to find out what works well and with minimal side effects for you.
