Is There Any Treatment To Correct The Single Kidney With 10% Functioning?

II have an 18 month old granddaughter who has one kidney that is very small and functioning.g at only 10%. Is there any treatment to make it continue to grow and function? In short what is the treatment of choices if any and especially any natural nutritional things we can do to help her.

Hi...i sympathize with the condition of your grand daughter and I understand your concerns. As of no there is no way or any medicine/ treatment which can make the kidney grow. No natural nutritional things will make the kidney grow. This seems to be a congenital problem as it is a single kidney and her age is only 18 months. The best possible thing you can do is to avoid nephrotoxic drugs or the medicines which put stress on the kidney like NSAIDs in any way....eg: pain killers etc.
