Is There Any Suitable Treatment For Osteoporosis And Compression Fractures On The Spine After Chemo-radiation For Esophageal Cancer?

Hello ! I went thru chemo and radiation for esophageal cancer . Cured the cancer but left me with osteoporosis and I have compression fractures in 6 vertebrae . Started with 3 and doctor tried cement but broke more vertebrae . I have been on pain meds and all kinds of braces but still in bad shape . Is there anything else to try ? It has been 4 years

I advise you to discuss the option of bisphosphonate or denosumab therapy with your physician. Moreover a surgical fixation with implant may help reducing the pain and can provide stability.
