Is There Any Side Effect For Steroid Injection In 11 Weeks Old?

My son received a steroid injection for a respiratory infection he is 11 weeks old are there any side affects he seems to scream like a painfull scream at night unless he is feeding but when he is feeding it seams to be more for comfort than actually eating

Hi..Actually there is no indication for giving steroid injection for respiratory infection at this age. We can give steroid nebulisation if the distress is severe. Also I think the child may be crying because of feed as single dose of steroids is not known to cause such side effects.
