Is There Any Harm In Taking Nitrofurantoin In 39th Week Of Pregnancy?
uhm I have a question about a medication I was prescribed called Nitrofurantoin... I was told I absolutely had to take this med for an infection but I am 38 weeks almost 39 weeks will it cause early labor and what else can it do? can it harm a child or even me by chance?

You do not need to worry because you are in term(baby is mature) after 37 weeks.
Urinary infection can cause premature rupture of membranes in this age of pregnancy.
Nitrofurantoin is very good for the treatment of urinary infection and use much water 2-3 l per day and cranberry tea.
