Is There A Risk Of Pregnancy Here?

Hi, I started taking ginet 84 and was only 3 days in on the hormone pills before having unprotected sex. I then took 4 hormone pills just in case of pregnancy and took the pills as normal afterwards. Is there a Risk of pregnancy? It wouldn t be the worst thing if I was, but now I m worried that if I am, continuing on the pill will affect the baby. Please advise. Thanks.

Hallow Dear,

Ginet 84 contains Cyproterone acetate 2mg and Ethinylestradiol 35mcg. These tablets are used for acne problems and hair growth problems. These pills are not advised in pregnancy. It has been clearly mentioned that these pills should not be taken during pregnancy or if you are planning to get pregnant.

If you have taken these pills and you are likely to be pregnant, please report to your Obstetrician. You might have to terminate this pregnancy.

I hope this helps you.
