Is There A Painless Procedure To Remove Scar Tissue On Lip?

My son had stitches on his lip a year and 1/2 ago. He is now 9 years old. There is a bump on his lip where the stitches were. We took him back to the plastic surgeon who recommended to massage it a few times a day and if that doesn t work he would give a cortisone shot which would be very painful. I would like to research if there is any other way to remover the bump/scar tissue.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
There are painless procedures to remove bump or scar other than painful procedures like injecting cortisone shots.
The treatment consists of cosmetic surgery to remove the scar tissue.
The procedure is safe and painless however it is more expensive than conventional methods.
For this procedure you need to consult an experienced cosmetologist.

Thanks and take care
