Is There A Chance Of Over Sensitivity To Eye Drops?

is it true that some people are more sensitive to eye drops that dilate pupils that I am still having dilated pupils today as noted by Dr who had just examined my eyes today. I had eye drops times 2 at five minute interval instilled on both eyes when I went to the emergency hospital on Sunday morning

Hi,

Your symptoms seem to be related to the use of eyedrops.

Eye drops can cause sensitivity to the eye.

I suggest you use steroid eye drops to relieve the symptoms.

If the symptoms continue you should consult an oculist for further evaluation and treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
